§ 30-4. Driveways stormwater culverts within public rights-of-way; permit required.

  • (a)

    All driveways requiring stormwater culverts within the right-of-way of all city streets shall be a minimum of 15 inches in diameter and the end of the culvert shall be a minimum of ten feet from the intersection of the ditch and the projection of the property line of the adjacent property owner.

    (b)

    A permit shall be obtained from the city for all driveways and culverts.

    (c)

    The application for a driveway and culvert permit must be reviewed and approved by the city engineer to ensure adequate culvert size and drainage slopes for a ten-year-frequency storm before issuance of the permit.
