§ 18-2. Use of fireworks.

(a)

It shall be unlawful for any person to discharge fireworks on public property without permission from the mayor or city council.

(b)

It shall be unlawful for any person to discharge fireworks on private property except during the following hours:

(1)

Between the hours of 10:00 a.m. through 10:00 p.m. on July 4th.

(2)

Between the hours of 10:00 a.m. through 10:00 p.m. on December 24th.

(3)

Between the hours of 10:00 a.m. on December 31st and 1:00 a.m. on January 1st.
