§ 8-2. Slab requirement, subsequent conditions.

All new construction shall be required to have the slab or bottom floor a minimum of 18 inches above the nearest municipal sewer manhole in areas designated as problem areas by the city engineer, and the city can require the landowner to install and maintain an individual sewer pump and/or mechanical backflow prevention for the property when conditions in the area exist to require the use of such mechanisms.
