§ 4-25. Keeping or maintaining dog without annual vaccination prohibited.

  • It shall be unlawful for any person who is the owner or keeper of a dog, either male or female, once it has reached four months of age, to keep or maintain such dog in the corporate limits of the city unless such dog has been vaccinated against rabies by a licensed veterinarian. It shall be the duty of the owner or keeper of any dog owned, kept or maintained in the city to cause the dog to be vaccinated against rabies by a licensed veterinarian at least once each year thereafter, in compliance with state regulations.
