§ 4-2. Horse-riding permit required.

(a)

The city shall require a permit for horse riding in the city limits, and the fee for the horse-riding permit shall be $25.00 per year, and riders must obey the following guidelines:

(1)

No riding on sidewalks.

(2)

No riding in downtown business area.

(3)

No riding while consuming or under influence of alcohol.

(4)

No riding after dark.

(5)

Riders must wear reflective vests.

(6)

Riders 12 years of age and under do not require a permit, but must be accompanied by an adult.

(b)

Riders in violation of these guidelines shall be fined.
