§ 36-5. Skateboarding prohibited.

  • (a)

    The term "skateboarding" is defined as a means of personal conveyance by which a person stands, squats, kneels, sits or lies upon a board to which are attached two or more small wheels commonly referred to as "skates" and propels the board by intermittent pushes or shoves on the ground with any combination of legs and arms.

    (b)

    Skateboarding as defined in subsection (a) of this section is prohibited on all public streets within the corporate limits of the city.
