§ 22-280. Vandalism or destruction of city property.

No person shall willfully mark, deface, disfigure, tamper with or displace or remove any water meters, locks, tables, benches, or other public utilities, signs, notices or placards, or other structures or equipment installed by or with authority of the City of Marksville.

Any person violating the provisions of this section shall, upon conviction, be subject to a fine of not more than $200.00, or imprisonment for not more than 60 days, or both, at the discretion of the court. Furthermore, restitution for replacement or repair of the property, including labor, may also be ordered by the court.
