§ 20-1. State sanitary code adopted.

There is hereby adopted as an ordinance of the city that certain code entitled the "Sanitary Code, State of Louisiana," as amended, prepared and promulgated by the state board of health under the authority of title 40 of the Revised Statutes (R.S. tit. 40). Any person violating such code shall be punished as provided in section 1-8. Copies of the sanitary code shall be kept on file in the office of the mayor, who shall make them available for inspection by any person during regular office hours.
