§ 18-51. Rules and regulations.

The following rules and regulations shall apply to the operations of the Marksville Volunteer Fire Department:

(1)

No city employee, while on duty, may be reimbursed for attending a fire.

(2)

There shall be absolutely no alcoholic beverages permitted on city hall premises or on city property.

(3)

No one under 18 years of age will be permitted on any of the fire trucks.

(4)

An auxiliary shall be formed to accommodate boys younger than 18 years of age.

(5)

Reimbursement to each fireman attending a fire shall be paid at the rate according to the rate and criteria as established from time to time.

(6)

There shall be no pay for false alarms and no pay for any fireman not actually going to the scene of the fire and assisting.

(7)

Any member falsely signing in as having attended a fire, while actually not doing so, shall be subject to dismissal from the fire department.
